PASSEIO

BRAZIL

Located in the south of Minas Gerais, Brazil, Fazenda Passeio has a history of nearly 100 years and is now managed by Adolfo Henrique Ferreira. In 1997, it was selected for the United Nations “Gourmet Coffee Project,” earning recognition as one of the pioneering farms in specialty coffee production. At altitudes around 1,200 meters, the farm cultivates coffee in fertile soils, producing cups that highlight Brazil’s signature sweetness and smooth body, while maintaining a clean, refined profile free of off-flavors.

The farm continues to invest in quality improvement through plot-based trials and cupping test harvests to determine the ideal picking time. With over half of its workforce made up of women, Passeio also focuses on creating better working conditions and supporting education, contributing to sustainable coffee production together with the local community. In the cup, expect notes reminiscent of nuts and chocolate, with clarity that remains even as the coffee cools. Balanced in sweetness and acidity, this coffee is featured as our choice for espresso.
