Much of Panama is mountainous, with its highest peak being Volcán Barú in Chiriquí Province. The area surrounding the volcano was enriched with fertile volcanic ash from eruptions in the 16th century, creating ideal conditions for coffee cultivation. El Palomar Estate is located in the Boquete region near this volcano.

The coffee is produced by the Garrido family, who own five farms in the region, including El Palomar. At their Mama Cata Estate, they have previously achieved first place in the prestigious Best of Panama competition, showcasing their exceptional skill and reputation. One distinctive feature of this lot is that it is processed using the natural method, relatively rare for Geisha coffees.

The result is a cup that highlights the signature fruitiness and fullness of Geisha, complemented by delicate jasmine-like aromas.
