When specialty coffee was still available at only a handful of cafés in Tokyo, I remember tasting Ethiopian coffee for the first time and being amazed by its uniquely delicious character.
This coffee has a bright, refreshing aroma and truly captures the classic image of an Ethiopian washed coffee — much like the ones I first experienced back then. It often sells out quickly in our café, probably because it delivers that unmistakable Ethiopian profile that people love.
It is also being used in the JHDC 2026 preliminary competition, and I believe it is a coffee that allows you to fully appreciate the character of Ethiopian washed beans.
